If you bake occasionally: A medium bowl (40 oz) and a small bowl (24 oz) will cover most of what you do. You can mix pancake batter, whip cream, and make a single batch of cookies.
If you bake regularly: You need all three sizes. The small bowl for eggs and melted butter, the medium for cake and muffin batter, and the large for bread dough, double batches, and big family desserts.
If you cook more than you bake: The medium and large bowls are your priority. Use them for salads, marinating, serving, and meal prep. The small bowl is still useful for dressings and prep work, but you can live without it if space is tight.
If you entertain often: The large bowl (88 oz) is essential. It holds a full salad for eight people, a big batch of punch, or enough popcorn for a movie night. The medium bowl works for side dishes, and the small bowl is perfect for dips and sauces.
When we designed Tikooere's ceramic mixing bowl set, we didn't guess at the sizes. We tested. We talked to home bakers, apartment cooks, and people who just wanted a bowl that wouldn't slide around the counter. The 24/40/88 oz combination kept coming up as the sweet spot—small enough for prep, large enough for bread, and versatile enough for everything in between.
We chose stoneware because it's dense, durable, and heavy enough to stay put when you're whisking. It handles the oven, microwave, and dishwasher without complaint. And because stoneware is non-porous, it won't absorb odors or stains from tomato sauce, curry, or chocolate.
The matte black glaze was a deliberate choice, too. It's a finish that looks good on the counter, transitions from prep to table without looking out of place, and hides the kind of minor wear that glossy bowls show after a few months of daily use.
Tikooere's three-piece nesting set is designed to be the only mixing bowls you need. They stack into each other, so they take up less cabinet space than a single large bowl. They're oven safe, microwave safe, dishwasher safe, and freezer safe. And they're built to last—not just through one holiday baking season, but through years of everyday cooking.
